An explosion of colors.During the summer, young olives are plentiful on the native trees, while during the fall hikers will find farmers and locals using long sticks to tap the branches to harvest the olives for salting.
Sneakers or sturdy boots are recommended, as well as a walking stick, as some loose stones can make the paths slippery. Don’t forget your hat, water and sunscreen!
